Looking for an artist for a comic book. I prefer an artist that draws in a more realistic style than overly cartoonish. The comic is being looked at by a major publisher and I would rather find an artist on my own then have one already established. It would be nice to build our careers together.

The comic has a lot of violence and religious undertones. Also, project will not be a short one. So if you are easily offended or cannot dedicate sufficent time, please do not apply.

To apply for this position, please email two samples of your work. If you would like to be ahead of the game illustrate the description below. I will contact you.

Thank you!

Character description for illustration:

The main character's name is The Artist and he was physically modeled after Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance.

The Artist has shaggy black hair around his jaw, no noticable facial scars. Appears in his early twenties. Clean shaven. Most of the scars are on his hands from before he was enlisted (1934, he was a tenant farmer) and forearms. His eyes are a golden hazel, more of a honey, and cold. He has seen and done things most horror movie scriptors only dream about. His eyes reflect this. He is usually tight jawed and doesn't speak often. He is more introspective than anything. The story flashes back and forth from the 1930's to the present day. He is in modern clothing for the bulk of the comic. He wears a pair of tight black pants, pristine; a black or a white t-shirt and a black motorcycle leather jacket.
